Susan and I were fortunate enough to find the fully restored car within five miles of our home. It had been in storage for over six years and although we have a very active Model A Club in Bakersfield, no one knew of the car’s existence. It was truly an exciting find. All I had to do was drain the gas tank, air up the tires, change the battery and a few other minor things and I actually drove the car home! Since that time I’ve had to do very little to it with the exception of new tires and tubes and a tune up. The photo was taken on an apple farm on the California coast where I found a nice shady spot under some trees.
