Audun & Oddrun Bratrud

This is most probably the only A-400 in Norway, and also the only known A-400 to have been assembled in Great Britain. We do not know anything about the carīs early life in England, but it must have been made by special order, as this model was not offered on a regular basis on the British Isles. The car came to Norway in 1935, and found its new owner here as a second-hand automobile in January 1937.The car was restored by Mr. Aage Christensen in the years between 1964 and 1971. Audun Bratrud became new owner of the car in June 2003. The A-400 was in need of a lot of TLC, so Audun has fitted a new engine, restored the gearbox and driveline, changed all the electric wiring, and put on a new Le Baron Bonney top. Audun joined the "Norsk A Modell Klubb" in January 1969 at the age of 12, and has been active in the Model A hobby ever since.
